Chang'an Avenue

Tangla Hotel is a landmark architecture on the west Chang'an Avenue. Guests in Tangla Hotel enjoy a easy reach to most of the famous attractions.

Chang'an Avenue literally "Eternal Peace Street", is a major thoroughfare in Beijing, China.
Chang'an Avenue is the road directly before Tian'anmen gate and to the north of Tian'anmen Square. Because of its location, Chang'an Avenue has been associated with a number of important events in Chinese history, such as the May 4th Movement and the funeral procession of Zhou Enlai, during important celebrations in the People's Republic of China, military parades are conducted on Chang'an Avenue, etc.

In 2009, as part of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China the road was widened to 10 lanes. There are many hotels and attractions located on this avenue, Tangla Hotel is one of them and also be a landmark.

Chang'an Avenue is including West Chang'an Avenue and East Chang'an Avenue, Tangla Hotel is located on the west Chang'an avenue.
Xian is a major traditional commercial area in beijing located near Tangla Hotel in Xicheng district.

The Xidan commercial district incuding the Xidan Culture Square, North Xidan Street and many supermarkets and department stores. The Xidan Cultural Square is the largest venue for cultural events in downtown Beijing.

Xidan Commercial Street has a long history that dates back to the Ming Dynasty. At that time, it was a passage for merchants and goods from provinces of southwestern China to enter the Inner City of Beijing. Then shops and restaurants were built to serve those merchants. From the Ming Dynasty to the Republic of China, many officials and aristocrats lived in west Beijing. Besides, some departments of the Northern Warlords government and the Kuomintang government were also set up in Xidan successively, thus attributing to the commercial flourish of the area.
